So the Easter holidays have crept up on me with an alarming speed. Anyone else found that? I would normally be chumping at the bit to get down to the coast for some r&r but Spring fever has taken over and I'm in "sort out mode". Weekends have been so very busy lately that there's only really been time to keep on top of the day to day, let alone tackle an increasing list of jobs that need doing around the house. My girls are also at the age where their social lives are starting to take precedent, so they don't want to be away missing out on time with their friends.

So home is where you'll find me for the next few weeks - pottering, sorting, clearing, making endless cups of tea for the decorator who is booked in to finish painting the house, ferrying children to sleepovers, netball tournaments etc etc oh and getting my new look blog up and running!

My new blog, yes, it hasn't been forgotten about! It's ready, as in it's sitting in it's new domain in wordpress, but it's a completely blank canvas waiting to be made pretty. So watch this space!
In the meantime I can't thank Chloe Digital enough for their utter patience with my technical inexpertise. So when I bumped into Chloe and Sol at last week's Big Small Business, there were big hugs of all round. And I am very honoured to be now considered a Chloe Digital Babe!

So Big Small Business - my goodness! What an inspiring, energetic, brilliant day it was! Firstly a big thank you to Laura, founder of Hero and Monica, founder of The Elgin Avenue, for making it happen and bringing such a wonderful community of like-minded people together. Secondly thank you to all the speakers and panelists for sharing their entreprenuerial stories. All had very different businesses, different products and service offerings and all their journeys were unique, but they all shared that same goal of making their dream businesses happen. And not just happen, but to be extra-ordinary, to excel in what they do and how they do it. I could have sat and listened to them all for hours, but for me Holly Scarsella of Pampelone Clothing is my new business heroine. Her drive, her passion, her enthusiasm and her quick witted ways are infectious!

If you're looking for some business or blogging inspiration then here's the full line-up of speakers and panelists with links to their Instagram accounts:

What I really loved about the day though was the chance to meet up with all my Instagram family, the lovely people who I share daily life with over on Instagram. It felt just like meeting up with old friends and made me feel so lucky to be part of such a wonderful community. So for daily doses of inspiration go and say hello to:

All gorgeous people who I know you will love!

That was last Saturday, this sunny Saturday I'm heading into London for the day with friends for shopping with our big girls who are eager to hit Oxford Street with their lengthy wishlists and hard-saved pocket money.

Me? I'll see if anything takes my fancy, but more lately I've been shopping online for some Spring additions to my wardrobe...

The Solana Dress from Hush. In a bit of a panic about what to wear to Big Small Business last week I ordered it in the olive green. I have it from last summer in black & white stripes and I already know I'm going to be living in it. Really easy to wear, dressed up with boots like I did last week for BSB, dressed down with white pumps and a denim jacket - today's London attire.

My Lois Avery cashmere scarf in Rose' One of two new colours for Spring, it's the perfect pop of colour, I don't think a day has gone by where I haven't worn it since it arrived!

The Wood Grey Round Shopper Basket. This has yet to arrive, but I know I'm going to love it and it's going to be accompanying me everywhere this summer. Look out for it on my IG feed very soon and if you want one, be quick, it sells out almost as quickly as it comes into stock!

So a sunny day in London is calling. Whatever you're up to have a fabulous weekend!
